About the MSLC
The Mathematics and Statistics Learning Center provides free support to students of many undergraduate Mathematics and Statistics students at The Ohio State University. We provide trained tutors available to help students with difficulties they are experiencing in class or with homework. In addition, we provide online resources, practice exams and workshops to help students achieve their potential as a student. The MSLC provides assistance for the following courses:

FREE Learning Support
- The MSLC is a great place to go to develop a good study routine, and to get your homework done, before you go home to relax at the end of the day.
- Come to the MSLC early in the quarter, and visit us often to stay on track with the material, get your questions answered, get the support you need, or just have a quiet place to think and work. (Quiet study rooms are available.)
- The MSLC offers content workshops and reviews to help you get ahead in your studies.
What you can Expect
- Each math course has a specific room that students go to for learning support. (To find your room, click here.)
- Each room contains several tables and chairs for you to spread out your materials and work on your math.
- You do not need to make an appointment, and all of our services are FREE!
- Undergraduate math majors and graduate teaching assistants are available within each room to provide learning assistance.
- You will also find many of your student peers in the room, working on their math.
- You are encouraged to work with students around you, or to ask questions of the learning assistants if you need help.
- We also offer workshops on math related topics. See "Upcoming Events" for details.
What you Cannot Expect
- We cannot work your problems for you.
- We cannot serve as a substitute for your lecture or recitation.
- We cannot guarantee help for everyone who comes in on exam day, or the day an assignment is due. Come in before that time for maximum attention.
- Math takes time to learn, and success requires a study routine- the MSLC is a great place to accomplish this!
